Punta Cana.- The inaugural Summit of Latin American Councilors has begun in Punta Cana. More than 500 local leaders from 33 countries are attending. The focus is on five key areas of municipal development. The summit ends on November 2.
The submission will conclude with a Final Declaration. This document will articulate collective commitments for Latin American cities’ future. It will highlight the dedicated efforts of councilors towards the sustainability and inclusivity of communities.
The Dominican Association of Vocals (ADOVA) organized the event in partnership with other organizations. The agenda includes strengthening municipal governance and addressing urban challenges.
