Punta Cana.- The inaugural Summit of Latin American Councilors brings together over 500 local leaders from 33 countries. The summit, running until November 2, focuses on five key areas of municipal development. Councilors will attend conferences, panels and round tables to discuss solutions and establish collaborations.
The summit concludes with a Final Declaration outlining their collective commitments. The document underscores their dedication to fostering sustainable, inclusive communities.
The summit is organized by the Dominican Association of Vocals (ADOVA), in association with the Dominican Municipal League (LMD), the Dominican Federation of Municipal Districts (FEDODIM), and the Latin American Federation of Cities, Municipalities, and Municipal Associations (FLACMA). The objective of the summit is to enhance municipal governance and tackle regional urban challenges together.
