Punta Cana.- More than 500 local leaders from 33 Latin American countries are attending the inaugural Summit of Latin American Councilors in Punta Cana. The summit, taking place until November 2, focuses on five major areas of municipal development. The goal is to provide practical tools for councilors and foster alliances to enhance urban management and quality of life.
The summit will conclude with a Final Declaration. This document outlines councilors’ commitments to build sustainable and inclusive communities through municipal leadership.
ADOVA, in alliance with LMD, FEDODIM, and FLACMA, organized the summit. The goal is to strengthen municipal governance and establish a shared agenda to tackle regional urban challenges.
