Punta Cana Resort Hosts Colorful “Owners Weekend” with Pop Art Theme

Punta Cana Resort recently hosted its annual “Owners Weekend” event with a vibrant Pop Art theme, drawing over 400 families from various parts of the world to indulge in a series of wellness, sports, and entertainment activities tailored for all ages.

The festivities kicked off with a warm welcome cocktail at La Caña Beach and Golf Club, where Frank Elias Rainieri, President & CEO of Puntacana Group, shared the accomplishments of the 2022-2023 period with the owners. During the gathering, he also unveiled plans for the resort’s expansion, diversification, and consolidation projects, promising significant investments for the benefit of the Puntacana Resort owners and the overall development of the Punta Cana destination, region, and country.

The welcome cocktail was also the perfect occasion to introduce the resort’s two new themed restaurants: BAO and Brassa. Guests were treated to a delectable pan-Asian fusion cuisine “a la candela,” featuring the finest cuts of meat and a carefully curated selection of fresh seafood and fish.

Throughout the weekend, La Cana Golf & Beach Club hosted a range of health and well-being activities, including paddle tennis classes, yoga sessions by the sea, a macramé workshop, a delightful coffee tasting and barista workshop for coffee enthusiasts, shiatsu massages offered by Six Senses Spa therapists, live music, and various children’s games.

A select group of owners also had the opportunity to experience a “Sound Therapy on Board” session, a popular practice involving a serene walk through the crystal-clear waters of Punta Cana accompanied by the soothing sounds of bowls, culminating in a refreshing bath in a natural pool in the sea.

Golf enthusiasts participated in a social tournament at the prestigious Corales golf course, offering 80 players a chance to relish the benefits of this professional golf venue, which has previously hosted the sporting event Corales Puntacana PGA TOUR Championship. Meanwhile, tennis enthusiasts engaged in a friendly match at the Oscar de la Renta Tennis Center as part of the traditional owners’ tournament.

As night fell, the resort came alive with a Pop Art-style dinner party at Playa Blanca restaurant. The enchanting evening featured live music, children’s activities, and a family-friendly atmosphere under the starlit sky, complemented by Punta Cana’s iconic gastronomy and captivating thematic experiences, creating cherished memories.

The event concluded with a delightful brunch at The Grill restaurant at La Cana Golf & Beach Club, offering an array of local dishes and menu favorites, accompanied by live music and children’s entertainment.
