Ziara was born at 29 weeks and has undergone multiple medical treatments. Despite early challenges, she is now in first grade and continues to develop her cognitive and communication skills, becoming a symbol of perseverance for families raising children with special needs.

During the visit, Milca Betancourt, Ziara’s mother, presented the children’s book *Mami Juega con Nigo*, inspired by Ziara’s daily life. The book promotes inclusion and offers practical tools for parents and caregivers navigating similar journeys.

The Punta Cana PGA Tour event, featuring 144 professional players and a $4 million prize pool, included the visit as part of its broader community engagement strategy. The Puntacana Foundation, working alongside the PGA Tour, has helped fund social programs like CEDI, reinforcing the idea that golf can generate positive, lasting impact beyond the course.
