Tri Cap Cana Punta Cana 2024 crowns 10th edition champions
The 2024 Tri Cap Cana Punta Cana marked its 10th edition with more than 350 athletes competing across multiple categories, including swimming, cycling, and running. The event introduced El Lago as the starting point for the swim segment, before continuing through cycling and running circuits adding to Cap Cana’s growing list of high-profile sports events.

In the Sprint Triathlon, Jorge Emanuel Alemanez Martínez won the men’s category, followed by Alian González and Richard De Jesu Ángeles Arias. Isabel Rodríguez Silverio took first in the women’s category, with Dasha Mendoza and Lia Campusano completing the podium.
David Ballesta García won the men’s Olympic Triathlon, while Leslie Amat Álvarez secured the top spot in the women’s division. Miguel Llodra and Ezequiel Rodríguez finished second and third in men’s, and Brenda Schaupp and Natalia Salafranca placed second and third in women’s.
Elieser Grullón and his team claimed victory in the Olympic Relay, while Gabriel Fajardo Fajardo Araujo and Isabella Suárez won the men’s and women’s divisions of the Olympic Duathlon.
In the running events, Juan Andrés Zamudio Acosta finished first in the men’s 5K with a time of 23:13. Wiktoria Lukaszyk led the women’s 5K with a time of 24:54. Daniela Ortiz won the women’s 10K with a final time of 44:58 showcasing the region’s growing appeal for international athletic competitions.
