Noval Properties has sealed a strategic alliance with the global hotel group Accor to incorporate the Swissôtel brand into the Jardines de Bellas Artes project in Santo Domingo. The development will be conceived as a mixed-use Hotel & Residences concept, integrating an international hotel operation with high-end residences facing the iconic Palacio de Bellas Artes.

This agreement marks a double milestone: it is Noval Properties’ first project in the Dominican capital under the hotel-plus-residences model, and it represents Swissôtel’s official entry into the Dominican Republic. With its arrival in Santo Domingo, the brand strengthens the country’s urban hospitality offering and adds a new benchmark for premium city living.

Accor, one of the most influential hotel groups worldwide, operates in more than 110 countries and manages a network of over 5,700 hotels. Through this partnership, the company brings to Jardines de Bellas Artes one of the premium flags in its portfolio. According to Accor’s figures as of June 30, 2025, Swissôtel operates 44 hotels with 15,881 rooms, focusing strongly on urban hospitality, contemporary design, and a lifestyle philosophy centered on wellbeing and vitality.

From Noval Properties’ perspective, the incorporation of Swissôtel aligns with its expansion roadmap, aimed at working hand in hand with top-tier international operators and diversifying its inventory toward mixed-use projects in key urban destinations. The company is betting on developments that combine residential comfort with hotel-level services, a formula that continues to gain traction among both local and international buyers.

Jardines de Bellas Artes is part of Noval Properties’ broader strategy to enter new markets after surpassing 3,200 delivered units in the Bávaro–Punta Cana corridor and consolidating its presence in Santo Domingo and Las Terrenas. The project responds to a growing trend: the rise of urban tourism and the demand for residences that integrate hotel-style services, amenities, and management in the heart of the city.

With Swissôtel’s landing in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic strengthens its position on the regional map of urban, design-driven hospitality, opening a new chapter for mixed-use developments that combine culture, lifestyle, and investment potential in a single address.
