Colombia.- David Alemán, Avianca's Sales Director for Colombia and South America, has shared his vision of the destinations most sought after by Colombians for the upcoming Easter season, with a marked preference for Caribbean destinations.
“Coastal and beach destinations tend to be the best options for everyone, with Caribbean destinations such as Punta Cana, Aruba or Curacao being particularly popular,” he commented.
In addition, Alemán highlighted that European, American and Ecuadorian destinations are also in high demand, including cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, New York, Miami and Orlando. “In Ecuador, Quito, Guayaquil and the Galapagos Islands are among the favorites,” he added.
Alemán also highlighted that within Colombia, cities such as Cartagena, Barranquilla and Santa Marta are among the most requested destinations.
“All these destinations are covered by Avianca,” he told REPORTUR.co.
In addition, he mentioned that Avianca will be operating approximately 4,000 flights during the Easter season, offering a total of 1.4 million seats from Friday, March 22 to April 1.
