Cap Cana – The Association of Multiple Banks of the Dominican Republic (ABA) has announced the second edition of its exclusive ABA Golf Cup, set for September 12–13 at the acclaimed Punta Espada Golf Course in Cap Cana, La Altagracia. Following the success of its debut tournament, this year’s edition is set to double in size, hosting more than 240 participants from the Dominican Republic, Latin America, and the United States.

ABA organizers describe the event as a unique platform for high-level networking, bringing together leaders from the banking and financial sectors in a relaxed and luxurious setting, all while sharing a common passion for golf. The tournament aims to promote professional connections and international visibility in one of the Caribbean’s most exclusive destinations.

The competition will follow a pairs scramble format divided into three categories, with special prizes and premium experiences for participants. Organized in collaboration with Golf View, the event will also feature a robust social program, including live music, gourmet meals, a welcome cocktail, and a closing celebration—all framed by the scenic landscape of the Jack Nicklaus–designed course.

The ABA highlighted that the Golf Cup has quickly become the premier gathering for the Dominican banking industry, and with its expanded format, it is now cementing its status as a regional benchmark for elite corporate sporting events.
