Aderes Recognizes David Collado for His Impact on the Dominican Culinary Industry


Punta Cana:- Dominican Restaurant Association (Aderes) recognized Tourism Minister, David Collado. He was honored for his significant aid to the restaurant industry and his endorsement of the Sustainable Gastronomic Tourism plan. The recognition was delivered during the third Restaurant Week Punta Cana. The event aims to boost the culinary landscape of the Punta Cana and Bávaro region.

Aderes president, Omar Cepeda, stated that this initiative is a part of the SDQ Gastronomic 2024 route. This fortifies the organization’s dedication to enhancing sustainable gastronomic tourism in the country’s busiest tourist hubs. The event features the Dominican Republic’s culinary variety, emphasizing the assortment of local commodities and cultural influences.

Restaurant Week Punta Cana 2023 also awarded several restaurants, which included Maralia, SBG Punta Cana, and Osteria Giorgetta. The event will last from October 7 to 13. It involves numerous establishments and presents two- and three-course tasting options. Some of the sponsors of SDQ Gastronomic 2024 include American Express, the Ministry of Tourism, and various local brands.
