Aderes reconoce a Collado por sus contribuciones al sector gastronómico del país

La Asociación Dominicana de Restaurantes (Aderes) otorgó un reconocimiento al Ministro de Turismo, David Collado. Se le elogió por su significativo apoyo al sector restaurador y por promover el Plan de Turismo Gastronómico Sostenible.

El homenaje tuvo lugar durante la celebración de la tercera edición de Restaurant Week Punta Cana. Su objetivo es resaltar la cocina y elevar el nivel de los restaurantes de Punta Cana y Bávaro.

Omar Cepeda, presidente de Aderes, comentó que se encuentran en la segunda etapa del SDQ Gastronómico 2024. Esta iniciativa refuerza su esfuerzo por desarrollar un turismo gastronómico sostenible en la región del país con más turistas.

“Restaurant Week Punta Cana es una iniciativa que brinda una plataforma ideal. Nos permite destacar lo que República Dominicana tiene para ofrecer, en términos culinarios. Además, nos permite demostrar la variedad y calidad de los productos locales y las influencias culturales en la gastronomía nacional”, dijo Cepeda.

David Llibre, presidente de Asonahores, enfatizó el compromiso del sector turístico al impulsar a la República Dominicana como un destino de gastronomía regional, fortaleciendo la oferta turística para satisfacer a los visitantes.

“Buscamos promover una experiencia culinaria atractiva. Los clientes pueden conocer nuestros principales destinos turísticos a través de la comida. Los platos destacan los productos locales y son elaborados por chefs reconocidos en restaurantes icónicos de la región Este”, agregó Llibre.

En el contexto de Restaurant Week Punta Cana 2023, se entregaron reconocimientos a los ganadores. La Academia Dominicana de Gastronomía distinguió a los restaurantes Maralia, SBG Punta Cana y Osteria Giorgetta.

Además, los clientes reconocieron a Monserrat Manor, La Taberna de Pepe y SBG Punta Cana como los mejores restaurantes de Punta Cana. Destacaron que el Restaurant Week se celebra desde el 7 al 13 de octubre.

Restaurant Week Punta Cana contará con la participación de distintos restaurantes. Los clientes pueden elegir un menú de degustación a dos tiempos por RD$1,395.00, más impuestos, o de tres tiempos por RD$1,795.00, más impuestos (no incluidas las bebidas).

La séptima edición del SDQ Gastronómico 2024 cuenta con el respaldo de diversos patrocinadores, incluyendo American Express, el Ministerio de Turismo, El Catador, Agua San Pellegrino, la Cervecería Nacional Dominicana, Cerveza Corona, Brugal, Grupo Rica, Arajet y Diageo.
