Santo Domingo, RD.- The Dominican Association of Real Estate Tourist Companies (ADETI) held its ordinary general assembly, resulting in the election of Eduardo Read as president for the next two years. Representative of Puntarena, Read will lead the new board along with prominent leaders in the sector.
The board will be made up of Jorge Subero from Cap Cana, Yudith Castillo from Grupo Puntacana, Juan Velázquez from Costasur / Casa de Campo, and Laura Troncoso from Playa Grande Golf & Ocean Club, who will hold positions of vice presidents. Cruz Apestegui from Rincón Bay will take over as secretary, while Tania Ramírez from Terra RD Partners (INICIA’s asset manager) will be treasurer.
The members will be William Phelan from Tropicalia, Luis Enrique Fajardo from Grupo Velutini, Jesús Durán from Playa Nueva Romana, Beatriz Asilis from Metro Country Club, Ángel Pérez from Club Hemingway, Abraham Amín Selman from Green One Playa Dorada, Liria Martínez from Cana Rock, Francisco Gómez de Kaynoa, and Michael Lugo Risk, who will serve as executive director.
ADETI reaffirms its commitment to the development of real estate tourism as an essential component of the diversification of national tourism. Its focus is on promoting a high-quality complementary offer, ensuring an environment that fosters trust and legal security to promote new real estate tourism projects in various destinations.
In the words of the newly elected president of ADETI, Eduardo Read expressed his gratitude for the vote of confidence received. He expressed his firm commitment to the institutional objectives of the new management, focused on solidifying the sector and collaborating on a common public-private agenda. This will be done with a view to facing the great challenges that tourism constantly faces.
