Air Canada to Restart Direct Flights from Quebec to Punta Cana

Punta Cana- Air Canada is set to resume non-stop flights from Quebec City. Destinations include Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Punta Cana, and Cancun for the winter of 2024-2025. Additionally, the airline will start weekly flights to Tulum, Mexico’s newest airport, from December 13, 2024.

The service expansion enhances Quebec's connectivity to main tourist spots. It offers travellers easier choices for their winter trips. Stéphane Poirier, CEO of Quebec Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB), showed his pleasure saying, “Air Canada’s decision to restore international flights from Quebec City and invest in our market by adding a new destination to the winter 2024-25 schedule is commendable.”

The new routes are due to a prosperous collaboration between Air Canada and YQB. It aims to bolster the region’s tourist offer and connectivity, says Aviación Club Center. Quebec City travellers can now enjoy more options and convenience for their winter trips, with improved access to popular sun destinations.
