Air Europa doubles daily flights between Madrid and Santo Domingo from Dec. 18 to Jan. 31, 2026, adding 27,000 seats with its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet.
Expanded Connectivity During High Travel Demand
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic — Air Europa has announced a significant expansion of its Madrid–Santo Domingo route, moving to two daily frequencies between December 18, 2025, and January 31, 2026. The increase will translate into an 87% boost in available seats, totaling nearly 27,000 seats during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.
The schedule will include:
- A new daily Madrid–Santo Domingo flight departing at 11:30 a.m.
- An additional Santo Domingo–Madrid service at 5:30 p.m.
This expanded offering will give travelers enhanced flexibility to plan round-trip journeys between Spain and the Caribbean.
Strengthening Commitment to the Dominican Republic
With this seasonal expansion, Air Europa cements its position as the European airline with the highest number of frequencies to the Dominican Republic.
In addition to Santo Domingo, the carrier currently operates:
- 5 weekly flights to Punta Cana
- 2 weekly flights to Santiago de los Caballeros
