Air France has announced the launch of a new seasonal route connecting Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) with Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) in the Dominican Republic. The nonstop service will operate three times a week from January 13 to March 28.
The route will be serviced by the airline’s Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, configured with 369 seats—48 in Business Class, 48 in Premium Economy, and 273 in Economy Class.
With this addition, Punta Cana becomes the sixth Caribbean destination served by Air France, joining existing routes to Cayenne (CAY), Guadeloupe (PTP), Havana (HAV), Martinique (FDF), and Saint Martin (SXM). While Santo Domingo’s Las Américas International Airport (SDQ) is listed on Air France’s official website, the route does not currently appear in the airline’s published schedule.
If activated, Santo Domingo would mark Air France’s second destination in the Dominican Republic, further strengthening its presence in the Caribbean.
