Air Transat declared as the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards 2023 winner, crowned as the foremost leisure airline in the world.

Punta Cana, RD.- Air Transat is pleased to announce that it has been named Best Leisure Airline in the World for the fifth time in the Skytrax World Airlines Awards 2023.

Airlines are rated on more than 60 different criteria, from check-in and boarding to staff service and seat comfort, cleanliness and in-flight entertainment.

Media around the world refer to these awards as “the Oscars of the aviation industry.” The customer survey was conducted from September 2022 to May 2023, and more than 100 customer nationalities participated in the 2022/2023 survey with 20.23 million eligible entries counted in the results covering more than 325 airlines.
