Grupo Puntacana announced the fifteenth edition of the Punta Cana Carnival, to be held next Saturday, February 3, 2024, on Boulevard 1ro. November of Puntacana Village.
The doors open at 2:30 pm and the grand parade will begin at 3:30 pm, with the participation of more than 20 troupes, more than 1,500 national and international carnival-goers that will celebrate Dominican folklore and culture. It is estimated to receive more than 15 thousand people, including nationals and tourists.
During the event, the public will be able to enjoy the coronation of the King or Queen Momo which constitutes the big surprise of the festival gala, since the distinction is awarded to prominent and influential national personalities, who inspire Dominican society with their work. Last year, the renowned singer Eddy Herrera He was crowned King Momo of the Carnival parade.

The Punta Cana Carnival is a free event to the general public, and will have platforms for sale for those who wish to purchase their tickets at the Four Points by Sheraton Puntacana Village hotel, the Visitor’s Center of Puntacana Resort & Club and at the offices of Real Estate Sales at Galerías Puntacana, Puntacana Village.
This edition will feature food trucks and entertainment in a family-friendly and safe environment.

For the first time, the event will have the Three Faces Cave a space open to the public with gastronomic offers and experiences for the entire community.
Similarly, the event will feature the distribution of waste recycling stations, the implementation of reusable cups and the use of biodegradable disposables on pallets, with the purpose of promoting sustainable initiatives and reducing environmental impact.
