Guayaquil, Ecuador. – Quito and Guayaquil direct to Santo Domingo with Arajet, the Dominican airline that celebrates its first year of operations with Ecuador and announces that next year it will double its available seats on its connections with the South American country.

“Thanks to the good performance that the Ecuadorian market is having, we will be resuming direct flights between Santo Domingo-Guayaquil and Santo Domingo-Quito, which will increase to about 1,500 seats available weekly between the Dominican Republic and Ecuador,” said Luna.

For his part, the General Manager of the Guayaquil Airport Terminal (TAGSA), Ángel Córdova, expressed that for Guayaquil Arajet it has represented an opportunity to have a positive impact on the direct connectivity of that city with another country that did not exist before.

For his part, the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic in Ecuador Luis Kalaff, stated that thanks to Arajet there has been an increase in the number of Ecuadorian tourists who visit the Dominican Republic and vice versa, as well as greater dynamism in trade exchanges between both countries.

Luna also highlighted that “Arajet’s mission is to consolidate itself as the low-price airline preferred by Ecuadorians and all Latin Americans”; He also emphasized that Arajet fulfills its promise to democratize the region’s skies, offering the best prices and the opportunity to travel safely, on new aircraft, with high-quality on-board service and highly competitive prices.

The airline executive maintained that Ecuadorians who fly with Arajet will enjoy the Dominican Republic, its historic city of Santo Domingo, “primary of America,” as well as its tropical beaches just 20 minutes from the airport, such as Boca Chica or Juan Dolio, also Bayahibe 45 minutes away.

In addition, he highlighted Arajet’s extensive route network with 22 destinations in 16 countries, more than 150 connections in North, Central and South America and that also offer a bus service to Punta Cana at no additional cost, in a journey of less than of two hours.

Arajet has managed to interconnect the entire continent at the lowest cost and operational safety and plans to fly 1.5 million passengers by 2024.
