Asonahores to host the Sixth Tourism Investment Forum on November 20th

The Hotel and Tourism Association of the Dominican Republic (Asonahores) will host the sixth Tourism Investment Forum on November 20. The goal is to present the vision of the public and private sectors for industry development. The forum will be held at El Embajador Royal Hideaway Hotel, starting at 9:00 AM.

David Book, President of Asonahores, expressed the entity’s desire to exchange perspectives on the tourism sector’s main issues as a value proposition that promotes local and international investment opportunities.

Book stated, “At Asonahores, with this initiative that brings together the industry’s main players, we want to highlight the tourism industry’s growth to boost the national economy’s development.

The Tourism Investment Forum will present the study “Impact of the Tourism Sector on the Dominican Economy” by the firm Analytica and sponsored by Banco Popular. This study will offer an updated vision of the national tourism industry.

There will also be a panel on “Regulations regarding Tourism Investment” with the participation of various superintendents. It will be moderated by Javier Tejada, General Director of United Capital.

Another panel on “New Luxury Tourism Proposals” will feature key industry figures and will be moderated by Andrés Marranzini Grullón.

The forum will also include the recognition of companies and allies in the tourism sector for their constant support in strengthening the local tourism industry.
