Athletes from 14 countries set to compete in Punta Cana Beach Volleyball Classic’s Seventh edition

Santo Domingo.- Once again, Los Corales beach will be the setting for the celebration for the seventh time of the Punta Cana Beach Volleyball Classic, to be held from September 28 to October 1.

The event, which has the endorsement of the Dominican Volleyball Federation (Fedovoli), will bring together athletes from 14 countries who come with the firm objective of earning points for the Norceca Grand Final.

For the seventh consecutive year, Mr. Ernesto Veloz, president of ASOLESTE, will be heading the organizing committee, which includes the sports director of the Mayor’s Office of Verón, Félix Martínez; the director of Televisión del Este, Domingo Jiménez and Henry Puello, technical director of Fedovoli.

“The Punta Cana Beach Volleyball Classic has a special value because it doubles the points that are awarded in the normal stages of the circuit, the countries will come with their entire arsenal, both in the male and female branches,” said Anglada, who is vice president. coach of the Dominican Volleyball Federation (Fedovoli).

Among the confirmed countries are the United States, Virgin Islands, Canada, Cayman Islands, Grenada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Dominica, Aruba, Saint Kits, Dominican Republic, among others.

The event organized by the Dominican Sports Tourism Foundation, Marketing Sport Event, has the support of the Norceca confederation, the Mayor’s Office of Verón, ASOLESTE, among others.

The Punta Cana beach volleyball classic has been held since 2015 in the Punta Cana area, bringing together the most renowned beach volleyball couples from the North, Central America and the Caribbean.
