Bogotá.- As a prelude to the end of year season, Colombians will be able to enjoy two festive long weekends this month on Monday, November 6 and 13. That’s why, hadwhich continues its work of promoting tourism and Colombia as a power in Latin America, makes the following recommendations so that millions of travelers travel without setbacks during these dates:
Check-in online up to 24 hours before for the United States and Canada, and up to 48 hours before for any other Avianca destination.
Check the requirements for leaving the country and entering the destination in order to have all the necessary documentation ready when arriving at the airport.
Arrive at the airport well in advance (three hours for international flights and two for domestic flights).
Make use of BioMig’s automatic machines to carry out migration processes in an agile manner. If they are not registered in BioMig, travelers can register at counter 68 at the Bogotá Airport or at the international departures at the Medellín airport and when registering for the first time they will receive a promotional code equivalent to US$25 or 5,000 lifemiles.
Transport items such as cell phones, laptops, tablets, cameras, portable external chargers (power banks) and any object that contains lithium batteries only in the cabin of the plane, and not in the hold, for safety.
During these dates of high flow of travelers, and facing the end of year season, avianca calls for respect and tolerance among travelers and also for airport personnel, crews and authorities, following safety instructions and having a behavior that guarantees the safe and agile operation of flights.
