Bávaro Adventure Park: A Thrilling Family Destination in Punta Cana
Located in the breathtaking natural surroundings of Bavaro, Punta Cana, the outdoor adventure and theme park, Bávaro Adventure Park, offers a diverse array of attractions and activities for visitors of all ages. Hector Urena, the commercial director, shared the park’s vision of offering something unique, challenging, and respectful of the environment, adhering to the highest global standards. Recently, the park inaugurated a specially designed “playground” that adds to the other thrilling activities, providing a safe and enjoyable space for children aged 2 to 11 years, without size or weight restrictions.
The launch of the playground was celebrated in collaboration with the Autism Without Borders Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and their families. The park aims to promote inclusion and enhance the quality of life for those on the autism spectrum.
Among the park’s main attractions are Buggy or Polaris rides, the exhilarating Zip Line Mega Splash, Horseback Riding, the serene Cenote Blue Lagoon, Jungle River adventures, a Pool with a waterfall, the enchanting Dominican Village, and thrilling Paintball games.
Recent additions to Bávaro Adventure Park include an impressive lobby with a capacity for two thousand people, restaurants, a Photoshop and Gift shop, a cafeteria, picturesque murals, a shower area, and other exciting amenities.
Bávaro Adventure Park originated in 2011 when Bernhard Knirsch, the General Director, along with friends and partners from the Dominican Republic’s hotel industry, recognized the need for diverse entertainment and adventure options beyond the traditional “all-inclusive” packages offered by hotels. Since then, the park has become a prime destination for those seeking unforgettable experiences in Punta Cana.
