At the opening of March last Friday, Luis Abinader, President of the Republic; David Collado, Minister of Tourism; Fernando Hazoury, resident of the Cap Cana Board of Directors; Engineer Mariano Sanz, owner of the work and other leaders of the Dominican tourism industry, led the event.

The 7 Seas Tower represents a milestone for the tourist area of ​​Cap Cana, Punta Cana, Bávaro and other surrounding areas as it is the first of several in a development project. It consists of 15 levels and 64 luxury apartments with a spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea, the upcoming Las Iguanas golf course, under construction, and other impressive areas of the destination city.

In his opening words, Engineer Sanz thanked his partners, Cap Cana, the Hazoury Family, the owners of the tower, and all those who directly and indirectly contributed to the realization of this important project. He highlighted that about 9 different nationalities from around the world are clients of 7 Mares, thus reaffirming the importance of real estate tourism today.

For his part, the president of the Board of Directors of Cap Cana, Fernando Hazoury, thanked the developers and co-developers who have chosen Cap Cana for their investments, contributing to growth. He said that since their inception they have had important allies from leading national and international companies that have added prestige and positioning to the country, which is why he assured that his team will continue to do what is necessary to protect and enhance investment, assets and work. of everyone within the destination city.

“For this reason, we took the first steps to implement good corporate governance, as other family groups have done, as a form of ratification of the commitment assumed by the shareholders regarding business institutionalization, a government that today requires that it be more institutional and “Modern than the one we already have, where the board of directors is made up in part of experienced international professionals, which will undoubtedly benefit the Dominican Republic, all present and future investors of the destination city and all its partners and allies.” he pointed out.

Meanwhile, the president of the Dominican Republic Luis Abinader recalled that in very difficult times he said that it was the best time, at the end of 2020-2021, to invest in the Dominican Republic.

He added that this moment continues even more clearly, ensuring that the country does not have a light in the tunnel, but that it is in the light, and that it will continue to grow and advance.

“I am very optimistic about the Dominican Republic, I am very optimistic about Dominican businessmen; Look, as the Hazoury family already considered moving to a more modern corporate board level and thus being able to become more and more sophisticated in management, as many families are also doing, which is very positive and guarantees that future generations of both the family, as well as the project because they are much more sustainable,” said the president.

For his part, the Minister of Tourism David Collado expressed that tourism is at its best in the country after having reached the figure of 10 million 306 thousand visitors, a figure that has been going on since 2013.

“We started the year 2024 in a strong and forceful way, in the month of January alone, one million visitors arrived in the country, the highest number in the history of all the months of January and in the month of February the same thing is happening, We have the best month of February in the history of tourism, said the official.

He revealed that the projections until the month of April indicate that the Dominican Republic will have the best winter tourism in our country, but that despite this, as a ministry they are taking steps to not remain intoxicated in success and recognition.

7 seas is the first 15-level tower built in the entire eastern part of the country. It has been conceived with an evident commitment to sustainability, since its design and engineering have many elements that were designed to reduce its impact on the environment.

The construction of the tower was carried out by the firm Logroval, who also participate as partners in its promotion, along with other international investors and the engineer Mariano Sanz.
