Santo Domingo — Centurion Capital Partners has officially launched its operations in the Dominican Republic, introducing a comprehensive strategy aimed at developing and managing world-class logistics infrastructure.
Founded by Richard F. Stefan and Luis Jesús Rodríguez, the firm unveiled an integrated business model that spans the acquisition of strategic land to the operation of state-of-the-art logistics centers. These facilities will focus on cold storage, distribution, and urban logistics hubs.
The launch event was attended by key government officials, including Eduardo Sanz Lovatón, Director General of Customs; Gianna Franjul, Vice Minister of Industry and Commerce; and Johannes Kelner, Vice Minister of Free Zones and Special Regimes.
“We saw a clear opportunity to modernize and streamline logistics infrastructure in the region by connecting capital with high-impact projects,” said co-founder Richard F. Stefan. “Centurion was created to bridge that gap and develop solutions that enhance competitiveness and support sustainable economic growth.”
“Our approach is centered on strategic partnerships that generate real, measurable growth,” added co-founder Luis Jesús Rodríguez. “Beyond capital, we bring vision, governance, and a rigorous analytical methodology to ensure consistent results.”
Customs Director Eduardo Sanz Lovatón emphasized that investments of this kind reinforce the Dominican Republic’s position as the leading logistics hub in the region.
Centurion is currently structuring two flagship logistics developments: one in Punta Cana, featuring over 50,000 square meters of leasable space near the airport, equipped with cold storage capabilities and built to sustainable standards; and another in Santo Domingo, along the Duarte Highway, offering 20,000 square meters of industrial warehouses tailored for regional logistics operators.
With this initial portfolio, the firm aims to close its first investment vehicle by the end of the year. All projects adhere to sustainability criteria aligned with the U.S. Green Building Council standards, aiming to deliver consistent returns while generating a positive impact on surrounding communities.
