CEPM and CEB Ramp Up Security Measures in Preparation for Storm Franklin

La Altagracia – Punta Cana Today – The Punta Cana-Macao Energy Consortium (CEPM) and its subsidiary Compañía de Electricidad de Bayahíbe (CEB) are carrying out intense efforts in terms of prevention and preparation for the imminent arrival of tropical storm Franklin in the country, expected in the early hours of this Wednesday. The CEPM-CEB team has been in constant monitoring and coordination to ensure the safety of its operations and the well-being of the community.

Since the start of the alert, both companies have held follow-up meetings in which various focus areas have been addressed with the aim of guaranteeing the continuity of services and security in their concession area. In this sense, CEPM has collaborated closely with relief institutions and especially with the District Council to strengthen security measures in the community.

One of the highlights of this collaboration has been the assistance provided in terms of power plants and fuel, to ensure power supply in critical areas. In addition, assistance teams have been made available to reinforce security operations and response to any contingency.
