CEPM and Evergo Commemorate International Journalist Day with East Region Professionals

In La Altagracia, the Punta Cana – Macao Energy Consortium (CEPM) and Evergo hosted a workshop in commemoration of International Journalist Day. This event, known as “Trends in the era of Creative Intelligence for a new superpower,” was presided over by Alf Álvarez, the CEO of Hey Marcas and the Founder of Snack Report.

The International Journalist Day program was held at the Evergo Connect electric charging station. Over 50 regional journalists, both from digital and traditional media, were located on the tourist boulevard of Bávaro, Punta Cana. The event highlighted the significant role these professionals play in communication, facilitating management and promoting the spread of information.

Oscar San Martín, General Manager of CEPM, recognized journalism’s essential role in establishing a knowledgeable society. He also emphasized the company’s dedication to building and bolstering the social structure in its designated territories by promoting initiatives to guarantee access to reliable information.

The speaker discussed the importance of innovation as a vital tool to understand the audience, brand, and the development of creative narratives that meet journalistic communication objectives.

Álvarez talked about his experiences regarding the creation of a storyline that corresponds to the changes in information consumption habits in present times. Recognizing that people access data from various platforms and devices, he said it was crucial to adapt messages to be brief, clear, and enticing while ensuring truthfulness.

Helena Sáenz, the Senior Manager of Communications and Shared Value at InterEnergy, stated, “We solidify our commitment to fostering journalistic excellence in our region. By providing specialized training and essential tools to local professionals, we enable them to carry out their work with greater precision on the latest subjects.“.
