The fire incident at the Club Med Punta Cana took place in the early hours of September 12.

The hotel verifies that there were no damages or serious injuries to any rooms, and only one guest suffered a minor injury during the evacuation process, needing medical care.

To alleviate the situation, Club Med offered its guests the option to continue their vacation at another Club Med property located in the Dominican Republic named Club Med Michès Playa Esmeralda, approximately under a two-hour drive from there.
