On the first day of the fair ITB of Berlin 2024, the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, signed agreements with several airlines to improve air connectivity for tourism in Dominican Republic with Germany.
“The first agreement was made with Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor Airlines, where the DR will continue to receive daily flights to Punta Cana and two weekly flights to Santo Domingo and Puerto Plata for a total of 9 flights, all from Frankfurt, Germany,” Collado posted on his social networks.
Futhermore, an agreement was signed with Discover Airlines where “the country reaffirms the main routes from Frankfurt to Punta Cana, with a total of 5 weekly flights.”
“Likewise with Edelweiss, an airline specialized in trips to exotic destinations, we maintain three weekly flights to Puerto Plata and Punta Cana from Zurich,” indicated the head of the Mitur.
