The Air Cargo Hub company in Punta Cana will offer fuel for cargo planes at its terminal. The tanks can hold 200,000 gallons of fuel, with an expansion capacity of up to 600,000 gallons.
According to Rafael Smith, Cargo Director at Punta Cana International Airport, the airport has the ability to serve 34 positions. He noted that they will offer competitive fuel prices.
“We can meet your fuel demands competitively. Plus, we offer extraordinary connectivity at a good value,” Smith stated.
Smith emphasized the superior connectivity at Punta Cana Airport, especially when compared to other countries like Mexico, Colombia, and Puerto Rico,
“You can reach any European destination on the same day your cargo lands here,” he said.
Smith disclosed that three cargo airlines are eager for the approval of Decree 148-22. The regulation could be ratified before 2024 ends, allowing access to fuel supplies in the Dominican Republic.
