Ricardo Felipe, partner-vice president of Coral Hospitality Corporation (CHC), revealed to .com that construction of the new hotel project TRYP by Wyndham Punta Cana will start in April 2024, “maximum in May.”
He told this tourist digital that the hotel is expected to be ready to receive tourists within 12 to 18 months after construction begins, around mid or late 2025.
«It is a hotel franchised by the Wyndham brand and operated by us; It will cater to the business crowd in Punta Cana for short stays. It’s like a city hotel but in the eastern area where the MICE audience is excellent,” he said.
The hotel will feature 97 rooms and a 2,200 square meter commercial area. It will be situated on the Eastern Tourist Boulevard and will offer a lobby bar, executive restaurant for 100 people, swimming pool, gym, 150-square-meter meeting and business center, free wi-fi in the lobby, pool, and rooms, as well as underground parking for guests and visitors.
BHD Bank is financing the project with around US$8,900,000 for construction and launch, granted to Bio Investment Group, SA S, sponsored by La Chapelle Group and CHC.
