The luxurious hotels that the chain Marriott will operate within the ambitious project Yanuna in Macau, north of Punta Cana, are generating high expectations in the Dominican tourism sector. This is a result of an alliance with the Pioneer Investment Fund Manager.
Construction of the hotels under the brands The Ritz-Carlton and The Luxury Collection is set to begin in June, according to .com and executive vice president of Pioneer, Yamil Isaías.
The first stage of the hotel megaproject is expected to be completed in about 24 months, marking another investment boost for Dominican tourism by funds. Yanuna will be located next to the Uvero Alto highway, approximately 34 kms northwest of Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). The destination is easily accessible to markets served by direct flights from over 30 countries.
