VERÓN, PUNTA CANA, DR — In a packed auditorium brimming with energy and anticipation, Dominican influencer and education advocate Darian Vargas delivered an impactful address to the Embajadores de la Cultura (Cultural Ambassadors), an elite group of youth selected by Premio Cultura VIP.

Vargas, known for his motivational approach and sharp insight, turned complex questions into powerful answers that challenged a generation not to settle for less. His message was clear: transformation begins with the courage to question, to learn, and to act boldly.

The exclusive event brought together over 50 academically outstanding young people, including winners of recent short story, poetry, and novel competitions, as well as participants of the Summer VIP 2025 program. Organized in collaboration with Fundación AIB, Evergo Connect, Trukamelo, and Punta Cana Hits, the event celebrated not only academic excellence but also the cultural promise of Verón–Punta Cana’s youth.

“This generation is setting a precedent,” said Geraldo WT, president and CEO of Premio Cultura VIP. “Punta Cana is not just a natural gem of the region—we’re ready to show the world that we are also the richest in culture. And it’s our youth who will bridge visitors to that cultural essence.”

Throughout the session, Vargas fielded candid questions from attendees, tackling topics such as education reform, leadership, and social change. He urged students to take ownership of their futures. “Don’t wait for someone else to fix things,” Vargas said. “Youth have the power to start their own revolutions.”

The active participation of the Cultural Ambassadors enriched the dialogue, with students engaging Vargas on the pressing challenges facing the Dominican education system, the role of discipline, and how cultural identity can drive societal transformation.

The event also underscored the strength of community partnerships. Fundación AIB, known for its dedication to social impact, played a crucial role in bringing the initiative to life—further solidifying its commitment to youth development in the region.

The gathering closed with a call to action: young leaders left not only inspired, but aware of their responsibility to shape their communities. With continued support from institutions like Fundación AIB, Verón–Punta Cana is quickly becoming a thriving hub for young, engaged, and empowered talent.
