Delta Airlines will increase flights to Latin America and the Caribbean on Saturdays in winter, adding 35,000 seats from Atlanta, Minneapolis, and Detroit, which is 30% more compared to the same period in 2022.
The new frequencies are distributed as follows: from Detroit it will have two more flights to Punta Cana, two to Montego Bay, and two to San Juan.
From Atlanta it will have three to St. Thomas, two to St. Maarten, two to Guatemala, three to San José, three to Liberia, and six to San Juan. From JFK airport it will add three frequencies to Cancun.
In addition, from Minneapolis it will add two more to Punta Cana, two frequencies to Montego Bay, and two to San Juan. Add flights to Liberia. It leaves four times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
From Boston it will offer two more frequencies to San Juan. Likewise, it will start new routes on Saturdays from January 13.
Also, Delta will have an additional flight from Seattle to Cancun that will depart on Fridays and return on Saturdays that will be seasonal starting December 22 on the Boeing 737-800.
