“Desfile por la inclusión” del Ministerio Público junto al Voluntariado Banreservas

En Santo Domingo, la Procuraduría General de la República (PGR), su Departamento de Derechos Humanos, la Dirección General de Servicios Penitenciarios (DGSP), el Voluntariado Banreservas y la Fundación Fashion Week Inclusion se unirán. Juntos, celebrarán el “Desfile por la Inclusión” durante las actividades de RD Fashion Week Santo Domingo 2024.

Estas instituciones proporcionarán la oportunidad a individuos privados de libertad y a adolescentes con conflictos judiciales. Ellos podrán desfilar por la pasarela. Además, presentarán sus creaciones en la RD Fashion Week Santo Domingo 2024. Esto ocurrirá este sábado, 12 de octubre, a partir de las 3:00 p.m. en el Hotel Marriot, Piantini, Distrito Nacional.

Los que organizan el “Desfile por la Inclusión” enfatizan su propósito. Buscan fomentar la autoconfianza y el empoderamiento. Quieren demostrar que todos pueden lucir elegante, colorido y llenos de esperanza, sin importar su condición.

El tema central del “Desfile por la Inclusión” será “Fantasía en la isla”. Mujeres privadas de libertad y adolescentes con conflictos judiciales participarán. Modelarán trabajos artesanales y de confección realizados por internas del Centro de Corrección y Rehabilitación Najayo Mujeres. También, habrá un DJ con discapacidad visual amenizando y mostrando su talento.

El desfile contará con Rita Abinader Corona. Ella ha trabajado mucho por la inclusión social de sectores vulnerables, la reinserción social, la moda inclusiva y el trabajo de las internas del centro penitenciario Najayo Mujeres.

Además, participarán adultos mayores, personas plus sizes, personas con discapacidades, niños y adolescentes en situación de riesgo y mujeres trabajadoras de las playas de Punta Cana y Puerto Plata.

Diplomáticos, funcionarios públicos y personajes artísticos de la sociedad dominicana asistirán al “Desfile por la Inclusión”.

La diseñadora dominicana Melkis Díaz también apoya esta iniciativa. Lo mismo las fundaciones Gissell Eusebio Life Transformer, Yo También Puedo, Quiéreme como Soy, Nido para Ángeles, la Policía Especializada de Seguridad Turística (POLITUR) y el Consejo Nacional de la Persona Envejeciente (CONAPE).
