Discover the acoustic products that ensure maximum comfort in hotel rooms

PUNTA CANA, La Altagracia. – The Armstrong Ceilings company emphasized the importance of acoustic control for the hospitality industry, which requires comfort in rooms where there is no noise from people, neither from room to room, nor luggage rolling in hotel hallways.

The explanation was offered by Edgardo San Miguel, representative of the company, during his talk on “Acoustics and its role in customer comfort”, presented at the XXXV Trade Fair of the National Association of Hotels and Restaurants (Asonahores).

San Miguel addressed the issue of acoustics in the hallways and rooms, and assured that for these areas there are products that allow the hotelier to create an environment of silence for guests to rest.

Also, he raised the need to have good acoustic control in common areas, such as restaurants, cafeterias, gyms, etc. “which will always be subject to the business objective”

“Although the noise in a restaurant can create an atmosphere of conversational activity, there are customers who will hate being in a place where they cannot have a conversation,” said San Miguel.

At the conference, specific products were presented that, in accordance with what the hotel expects, control the decibels of the different areas, thus ensuring the comfort of guests.

These products include a seamless acoustic ceiling system that offers a monolithic visual; a seamless, non-directional, monolithic, plaster-like acoustic ceiling or wall

Quick and easy installation of ceilings with the Armstrong Drywall Grid System.

Other products such as mold resistant surfaces; an ACOUSTIBUILT intended for spaces where a Level 4 equivalent drywall finish is desired, and also installation with most drywall compatible fixtures.
