Watkins Glen, NY – Dominican motorsport sensation Jimmy Llibre delivered a commanding performance at Watkins Glen International this past weekend, earning a third-place finish in Race 1 and securing third overall in the weekend standings of the prestigious Porsche Carrera Cup North America.
Llibre showcased his elite driving skills from the opening practice sessions, setting competitive lap times and maintaining consistency under pressure. His third-place finish in Race 1 came after a fierce battle through a tightly packed field, securing crucial championship points in the process.

Despite a late-race incident involving rear-end contact that disrupted his pace, the Dominican driver fought hard to maintain his position, finishing the weekend with a solid third place overall—keeping him in strong contention for the championship.
