“Your CasaRD has already been here in Bogotá since last Friday. We were at a private fair in a hotel where around 200 people participated, the 3 days we had last weekend came and yesterday we were at a presentation of projects and real estate development with the presence of approximately 20 Colombian businessmen from different branches who are interested in investing in the country”, declared Western Hernández, leader of the firm.

He explained that he shared the conference with Erick Núñez and that for yesterday he had planned a lunch with the representative of the Lonja de Colombia, a corporation that brings together real estate professionals.

“Echenique Group will only have a brand presence at the fair. We are going to be giving support to the Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies (AEI) and participating in the academic agenda, offering a conference jointly with an expert in migration, on the legal, immigration and tax aspects for foreign investors”, explained Reyna Echenique.

He added that through Echenique Academy he will hold a conference in a space called real estate cocktail for real estate entrepreneurs, where he will talk about the 7 keys to real estate self-leadership and to improve the tools real estate agents need to be successful.

“We also have face-to-face appointments with investment clients from here who want to invest in the country for inquiries, answer questions and all related issues in the real estate and legal part of the Dominican Republic,” said Echenique.

He considered it a good sign that clients are looking for ways to educate themselves before investing. “It is a main characteristic of Colombian investors to educate and inform themselves before investing in the DR, we have several appointments and we will be here until the 15th of this month.”

Yeranni Brea from RE/MAX Monumental said that before traveling to Colombia, his brand developed a promotional campaign aimed at Colombians, notifying them of its presence at the Great Real Estate Hall, through which initiative he achieved several appointments with potential clients.

“The most important thing is that Colombians are most interested in having their investment safe and many of them get their money from here, so we are offering them projects that provide them with security. The majority that we are promoting are guaranteed by the confotur law and all that we are offering are under the protection of trusts, which gives you security for your investment, apart from we will be presenting the occupation and the estimated return on investment that will have with your property,” Brea explained.

He explained that RE/MAX will have a stand that will rotate at different times so that different franchise offices have a space with their clients. “Apart from networking, for example, we have a meeting with RE/MAX Colombia for client alliances and for them to learn about the projects that we are developing in the country, which are designed for investors.”
