The Minister of Tourism‘s tactic is to appeal to the top international brands and executed this strategy at an event co-organized with three banks
The Ministry of Tourism in the Dominican Republic unveiled its fresh destinations in Miami city. The event was attended by numerous investors from North America, Europe, and Latin America.
The gathering, chaired by Minister David Collado, saw the convergence of high-ranking officials from airlines, luxury hotel chains, and investment funds from around the globe, reaffirming the Dominican Republic’s status as a premier luxury tourism spot in the Caribbean.
Presentations at the event included unveiling of the latest graphical and conceptual identities of Dominican luxury destinations, with Miches, Samaná, Costa del Ámbar and others being spotlighted.
In his remarks, Minister David Collado said, “Our country, the Dominican Republic, is in a stage of robust economic expansion, and we are poised to welcome investors looking for a vibrant location with excellent prospects.
This is the optimal time to invest in our nation and benefit from the vitality of our tourism sector.”
During his address, Alejandro Reynal, Global CEO of Four Seasons, underscored the significance of this strategic investment, stating, “The Dominican Republic encompasses all the features to be a luxury destination for a brand like Four Seasons.”
The gathering was sponsored by Banco Popular, Banco BHD, Banreservas and Grupo Puntacana, and concluded with a performance showcasing the legendary Dominican musician Juan Luis Guerra, whose melodious merengue music enthralled the crowd.
