“Our goal is to sustain investment in real estate and tourism. We aim to boost hospitality, tourism and national economic growth,” said the businessman.

The spokesperson also commended the leaders for withdrawing a proposed tax reform, praising it as a “clear example of listening and democracy.”

A press release reports that the Alliance plans to create 100 thousand housing units and invest over 12 billion dollars in the next 7 years. The Alliance has already developed more than 65,000 rooms in the area.

These proposed projects are expected to generate over 65,000 jobs. It’s believed they can fuel consistent growth in this coveted Caribbean destination.

The meeting held at the National Palace covered various issues faced by the Verón, Bávaro-Punta Cana region. This included discussion on project permissions, area investments and other important growth areas.

Several key stakeholders attended the meeting, including Senator Rafael Duluc. They represent 70% of Bávaro-Punta Cana investments, a critical economic driver for the region and country.
