The La Altagracia Tourism Business Alliance met with Vice President Raquel Peña. They discussed strengthening the development of Bávaro-Punta Cana.
President of the Alliance, José Sánchez, underlined the need for better road infrastructure. He also emphasized the construction of an aqueduct and improved wastewater treatment.

A press release noted that Alliance members have developed over 65,000 rooms in the area. They plan to build 100,000 housing units in the next seven years, with an investment over 12 billion dollars.

The meeting at the National Palace discussed the challenges of the Verón, Bávaro-Punta Cana area. They deliberated on project permissions, investments, and essential services for economic growth.
La Altagracia’s senator, Rafael Duluc, was part of the meeting. Various respective representatives also attended it. These entities make 70% of the investments in Bávaro-Punta Cana, fueling regional and national growth.
