Punta Cana, RD. – The AC Hotel Punta Cana by Marriott, belonging to EGI Business Group, continues with its exclusive gastronomic events, this time presenting a pairing dinner with wines from Italy. The meeting took place last Friday, October 27 at its AC Kitchen restaurant and had the special participation of the renowned Sommelier Necoletta Szalkai, who masterfully led the attendees through the different wine-growing areas of Italy.
Attendees and special guests were received by Elena Sainz, Corporate Director of EGI Business Group and Gregoria Enke, Sales & Marketing Director of EGI Business Group, who highlighted the great enthusiasm that these gastronomic events are generating in lovers of wine and good food. in this tourist destination.
The diners were able to taste dishes from the kitchen of the AC Hotel Punta Cana that were spectacularly marinated with the wines presented, highlighting the Tonnaso Sirloin as a starter, tasted with a Contini Alibaria, followed by a Sea Delight Soup with Lobster Stumbles that was marinated perfectly with a Brancai, Maramma Toscana.
The main course, Forest Skewers with Pork Tenderloin, was accompanied by a very peculiar Contini Sartiglia from the Serdegna region, which surprised everyone. The dinner ended with an Armonia of Cheese and Grape washed down with a Speri Valpolicella Riposso Classico, a non-traditional dessert wine but which gave that touch of contrast to the sweet ending.
