Expansion of the Puntacana Group: Branching out to the East, South, and North

Frank Elias Rainieri, CEO of Puntacana Group, stated that the business group is working on expanding its lodging offer in various parts of the country, beyond its growth in the East where they are pioneers in tourism.

He detailed to .com projects in development. One in Uvero Alto (W All-Inclusive Punta Cana), another in miches (Zemí Hotels), one in Punta Cana (Playa Serena Puntacana Resort), and their venture into Puerto Plata (Punta Bergantín), along with the ambitious project Puntarena in Bani.

In Puerto Plata, Frank Elías indicated that the intention of the group was to fulfill a family debt to the city.

Regarding the project in Brigantine Point, he highlighted the partnership with the Meliá Group to create a luxury 350-room hotel for luxury tourism.

“It is a spectacular project with all the conditions to be successful,” emphasized Frank Elias.

For Uvero Alto, a W All-Inclusive Punta Cana is being developed through a partnership between Marriott International, Puntacana Group, and Mac Hotels.

The Zemi Miches All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton will offer super luxury all-inclusive accommodations with sea views and pool options. Managed by Hilton Hotels & Resorts, it is expected to open in 2024.

Playa Serena Puntacana Resort will add 80 rooms over two floors, offering high-quality experiences with innovation and luxury elements, set to open in 2026.

In Puntarena, new beach apartment units, turnkey villa projects, and land plots for villa construction will be available for sale, along with new amenities like a boat dock and restaurant area.
