(Atlanta, Georgia) – The World Celebrity Golf Championship will take place in and around Cap Cana this October, promising to create a buzz. The three-day tournament starts on Friday, October 6, with twenty celebrities excited to participate on the famous Punta Espada golf course. Today, the event organizer announced the first 11 of the 20 confirmed celebrity attendees. World of Golf will reveal the final celebrity list around September 25, 2023.
Celebrities making their tournament debut include:
Don Cheadle – Hotel Rwanda, House of Lies, Black Monday, and his portrayal of James Rhodes aka War Machine in the movies Ironman and Avengers.
David Costabile – Breaking Bad, Suits, 13 Hours, and his breakout role as Michael “Wags” Wagner in the Showtime hit Billions.
Adrian Beltre – Former professional baseball third baseman from the Dominican Republic. He is considered one of the best third basemen of all time.
Daniel Norris – Under the Dome, United States of Al, and his breakout role as DEA agent Hank Schrader on the AMC series Breaking Bad.
Bruce Greenwood – The residentStar Trek by JJ AbramsThirteen days and the next release Fall of the House of Usher which will premiere on Netflix on October 12.
Kim Coates – Prison Break, Godless, Bad Blood, Black Hawk Down, and his epic portrayal of “Alex Tig” Trager in the smash hit Sons of Anarchy.
Grant Show – Melrose Place, devious maidens, private practice, and known for playing Blake Carrington in Dynasty; which was the #1 program in the Dominican Republic (Netflix).
Happy “King Felix” Hernandez – Former Major League Baseball player, All-Star, and Cy Young Award winner.
mike mills – Known as the bassist and founding member of the alternative rock band REM, and a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Dane DeHaan – Chronicle, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, and more recently the success of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer.
Amaury Nolasco – Puerto Rican actor known for his roles It’s Prison Break, Max Payne, Transformers, Deception, and his leading role in upper city.
