The Association of Hotels and Tourism of the Dominican Republic, Asonahores, and the Dominican Association of Restaurants, Aderes, announced the celebration of the VI edition of the “SDQ Gastronómico” and the various activities that will be part of this important event, whose main objective is to promote and recognize the Dominican gastronomic industry. At the launch cocktail, the prizes and recognitions were given to the winning restaurants of the last edition of Restaurant Week.
The activity was attended by David Llibre, president of ASONAHORES; Omar Cepeda, president of ADERES; Andrés Marranzini, Executive Vice President of ASONAHORES; accompanied by the members of both institutions, owners of the participating restaurants, representatives of the Dominican Academy of Gastronomy, executives of the sponsoring brands and those related to the country’s tourism and gastronomy sector.
David Llibre, president of Asonahores, expressed that “through SDQ Gastronómico we continue our institutional commitment to strengthen and promote the diversity of strengths of our destination, since the Dominican Republic is a set of benefits that satisfies the different tourist demands of our demanding visitors. These culinary presentations from the varied composition of our local products, is also an excellent setting to appreciate the diversity of flavors that our gastronomy offers, with executions carried out by renowned chefs who, from the most iconic restaurants, open their doors to the hundreds of diners who they are used to receiving”.
