This will facilitate quick access for Argentinians to this significant hub located in the capital of Brazil.

Following the introduction of the new route, a total of 11 Brazilian cities can now be linked with Argentina. Our valued customers can swiftly access this critical Brasilia-based hub and conveniently journey to cities such as Manaus, Belén, Boa Vista, Santarém, Cuiabá, Rio Branco, Cruzeiro do Sul, Puerto Viejo, Palmas, Teresina, São Luís , Goiânia, Salvador, Recife, Fortaleza, Belo Horizonte/Confins, Natal, João Pessoa, and Maceió, among others. Buenos Aires passengers onboard international Brazilian flights will benefit from swift connections from the GOL hub in Brasilia enroute to Florida, Miami and Orlando cities and to Cancún starting December 10, and finally to Bogotá, commencing February 4, 2025.

“The addition of this new GOL passage between Argentina and Brazil, originating from Brasilia, is a major plus for both Argentine and Brazilian customers. GOL presently operates several connections to Argentina from the South, Southeast and Northeast. It’s now time for the Center-West to cash in on this connection, which is equipped with everything essential to draw in an increasing number of tourists and uncover the region’s attractions, with the potential of journeying to North and Northeast destinations. Brasília now becomes the 11th Brazilian city to feature GOL direct flights to Buenos Aires,” asserted Bruno Balan, the executive director of GOL Airline Network Planning.

“Argentina has been historically one of the prime sources of international tourists to various Brazilian states, and this expansion in flight availability for such audiences marks a novel impetus to attract foreign visitor arrivals to Brazil. This initiative is another feather in the cap of the Federal Government towards highlighting Brazil’s attractions and transforming Brazil into a crucial tourist hotspot regionally and internationally,” stated the Minister of Tourism, Celso Sabino.

The Minister of Ports and Airports, Silvio Costa Filho noted, “The air network’s expansion has been fueled by the continuous endeavors of the Ministry of Ports and Airports, which supports tourism by having ongoing discussions with airlines and launching initiatives for aviation development. Enhancing the interconnectivity between Brazil and Argentina is key to elevating the visitor count to our nation, fostering job opportunities and revenue for Brazilian tourism.”

“Brasilia is widely recognized as an outstanding Brazilian hub, home to one of the finest airports worldwide and the solitary one with a direct connection to all other national capitals. The Ibaneis Rocha administration has faith that fostering international tourism contributes to the city’s growth and offers enhancements for the city and its inhabitants. This new international flight certifies that we are heading in the right direction and bolsters us to continue scouting for new international routes for the Federal District,” hailed the Secretary of International Relations of the Federal District, Paco Britto.

“GOL was established in Brasilia. Ever since the maiden flight’s inception, we have nurtured an extraordinary partnership that has grown exponentially over time. We have long been proud to be a domestic GOL hub, and today we are able to proclaim that we are now an international hub as well, connecting 30 domestic locations (two with a layover and 28 direct) to five destinations within the Americas. With the Buenos Aires flight, we are not only reinforcing the connection with Brazil, but also pioneering a new phase, linking Argentina with Colombia, Mexico, and the United States,” expressed Daniel Dumaresq, Air Business Manager at Inframerica.
