Grupo Extensa invests US$38 million in the new Palace Suites Downtown project in Punta Cana.

Punta Cana.- The Palace Suites Downtown project has been launched by Extensa Group with a significant investment of US$38 million. The launch took place at Caribbean Lake Park and was attended by the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources (MARENA).

Palace Suites Downtown offers 325 luxury suites in a captivating tourist concept located in the heart of Punta Cana. It boasts a convenient location, only 15 minutes away from the Punta Cana International Airport (AIPC), seven minutes away from Cabeza de Toro beach, 12 minutes away from Macao beach, three minutes away from Jumbo, and four minutes away from Plaza San Juan shopping center. Situated next to the Caribbean lake, the hotel enjoys a privileged setting.

The project is supported by foreign investment led by executive investors Theodore Pop and David Martin. Esther Rodríguez Baicu leads as the General Manager. She revealed that the approximate price per suite is US$150,000.

The executive director of Grupo Extensa, Theodore Pop, disclosed that the hotel will provide employment opportunities for about 250 people, contributing to the local economy. Extensa Group, a renowned real estate company, is dedicated to delivering successful projects.

Pop explained: “Our goal is for each client to achieve a significant return on their investment, which is the cornerstone of the project. Although customers may not reside on the premises, they may use their unit up to 60 times per year.”

Palace Suites Downtown offers a variety of amenities, including a 500-meter Lobby, a Coworking space for collaborative meetings or teleworking, a Sky Bar Lounge, a gym, a restaurant, an events room, a bar, a children’s playground, laundry facilities, a children’s pool, a central pool, and Valet Parking.

“We want our clients to maximize their profits. Our projects are developed with investors in mind, which is why we offer one of the highest capital gains in Punta Cana,” added the executive director.

The payment plan for Palace Suites Downtown consists of a US$3,000 reservation fee and a 20% down payment at contract signing within 30 days. Additionally, during the construction phase, buyers have the option of a 40% down payment upon delivery.

Grupo Extensa aligns with the CONFOTUR Law 158-01, allowing customers to benefit from a zero percent transfer rate and zero annual taxes for 15 years. Discounts include a 10% discount at Batu Restaurant, a 20% discount at Coco Bongo, and a 25% discount at Caribbean Lake Park for all suite purchasers. The suites are divided into type A and type B, offering various features such as balconies, terraces, jacuzzis, and gardens, providing opportunities for relaxation and enjoyment.
