La Romana, RD.- Today marks a significant milestone in air connectivity between two prominent destinations in the Caribbean, with the arrival of the first flight operated by Silver Airways from San Juan, Puerto Rico to La Romana, Dominican Republic. La Romana Airport is proud to receive this exciting service, in collaboration with this renowned airline, which provides excellence in regional air transport.
The historic flight, carried out on the ATR-72 aircraft, with capacity for 78 passengers, consolidates a new air bridge between both locations, thus facilitating connectivity and promoting tourism between these renowned destinations in the Caribbean.
Silver Airways will operate this route with a frequency of four flights per week, on Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This new option will give travelers greater flexibility to enjoy the attractions and natural beauty that both destinations have to offer.
