Intrant Inaugurates Road Surveillance and Control Office at Punta Cana Airport

Punta Cana.- Hugo Beras, the Executive Director of Intrant, presided over the inauguration of a new service office for the Directorate of Supervision and Control of Road Penalties, in collaboration with the Punta Cana Group, the Punta Cana Airport, and the Eastern Airports Corporation. This office aims to provide assistance and support to tourist transport operators in the region, facilitating legal procedures related to road operations and sanctions.

During the ceremony, Hugo Beras emphasized the significance of the new office at Punta Cana Airport, stating that it will closely monitor inspections and the proper functioning of tourist transport, with special attention to the conduct of its drivers.

Miguel Martínez Roa, Security Manager of the Punta Cana Airport, expressed gratitude for Intrant’s positive initiative and valued the collaboration.

Beras further highlighted the instrumental role played by the Punta Cana Airport and the Corporación de Aeropuertos del Este in providing a designated space for Intrant in Terminal A of the airport, ensuring an enhanced user experience.

Under the purview of the Directorate of Supervision and Control of Road Sanctions, Intrant is responsible for regulating and overseeing the transport service to ensure compliance with rules and the safety of road users, in accordance with Law 63-17.

The new Intrant office in Punta Cana will offer fine payment services and facilitate procedures for the return of retained vehicles from Monday to Friday, between 8 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon.
