PUNTA CANA. The Central Electoral Board (JCE) resumed the “Motivation to Vote” operations this week for the upcoming presidential and congressional elections on May 19. The goal is to encourage as many people as possible to vote and strengthen democracy.
IESPEC staff are actively involved in this phase, conducting operations at various higher education institutions nationwide. In the National District, they have visited several universities and educational centers.
These operations will expand to reach all provinces in the first week of April. Trained promoters will distribute educational materials and provide guidance on voting procedures.
Collaborators will distribute educational materials, election information, and Dominican flags in these areas.
The Communications Directorate, in collaboration with Electoral Boards and the Elections Directorate, coordinates these operations.
