Punta Cana — Hyatt has officially expanded its global footprint in the Caribbean with the opening of Royal Beach Hotel Punta Cana, marking the regional debut of its JdV by Hyatt boutique hotel brand. The property, located in the vibrant El Cortecito neighborhood just 25 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ), offers direct access to the picturesque Los Corales Beach.
Blending local charm with modern aesthetics, the hotel features 66 eclectic and comfortable guest rooms, a fitness center, outdoor pool, and two boardrooms designed for meetings and private events. Guests can also enjoy an event terrace, immersing themselves in the lively beach culture of the area.
Dining options are designed to reflect the hotel’s cosmopolitan identity. The Ambar Fusion Cuisine restaurant combines island flavors with global influences, while Bar Colón offers a relaxed poolside experience. The Royal Beach Lobby Bar rounds out the culinary offerings with a curated cocktail menu.
The launch of Royal Beach Hotel Punta Cana brings the JdV by Hyatt portfolio to over 55 boutique hotels worldwide, spanning the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia, and now the Caribbean. This new addition also reinforces Hyatt’s robust presence in the Dominican Republic, complementing its 20 Inclusive Collection resorts already operating in the Punta Cana region.
